US Pips China in Medals Race as Curtains Fall on Games 2024

The 2024 Olympic Games closed with the US barely pushing out China in the decorations race, completing the last awards table with a sum of 126 decorations, including 40 golds, 44 silvers, and 42 bronzes. China followed intimately with a sum of 91 decorations, containing 40 golds, 27 silvers, and 24 bronzes. The savage rivalry between these two brandishing forces to be reckoned with kept fans anxious until the end.

Marathon Magic: Wanyonyi’s Remarkable Victory
One of the champion snapshots of the last day was Kenya's Emmanuel Wanyonyi securing gold in the men's long distance race. The 20-year-old conveyed a masterclass in perseverance and system, pulling away from a firmly stuffed bunch in the last couple of kilometers. His victory added to Kenya's great count of 11 decorations, four of which were gold. Wanyonyi's triumph was commended across Kenya, where long distance race running is viewed as an irreplaceable asset.

Glory for Kerr: A Golden Leap                                                                                                                                                                              Extraordinary England's Josh Kerr added a sparkling gold to his nation's count in the men's 1500 meters, fixing his status as one of the chief center distance sprinters on the planet. Kerr's essential methodology in the race saw him dominate his opponents in the last lap, getting Extraordinary England's fourteenth gold decoration and adding to their general count of 65 awards.                                                                                                                                          Final Medals Table
