A grievous fuel big hauler blast in northern Nigeria on September 8, 2024, has killed no less than 59 individuals. The episode happened when a petroleum big hauler slammed into a truck conveying travelers and dairy cattle in the Agaie region of Niger State. Following the impact, the big hauler detonated, overwhelming a few vehicles on fire.
